Dr. Shimar Jones
Dr. Shimar Jones, DC, was born and raised in Marshall, TX.. He graduated from Central College earning his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Jones was also a member of Central College’s Men’s basketball team where he received the Thom Steward Hustle Award. He helped lead the team to win two conference championships and two NCAA tournament appearances. After earning his bachelor’s degree in exercise science, Dr. Jones took a year off to work and travel. He worked at the American Airlines Arena, home of the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks, and traveled extensively visiting Mexico, California, New York, Arizona, and Virginia. While attending Parker University, Dr. Jones participated in numerous seminars and earned several certifications to complement his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He is currently certified in FMT Advanced Blades (Graston) and RockPod Myofascial Cupping. In his free time, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their dog, Diesel. Together, they enjoy Pilates, horseback riding, basketball, barbeques, and attending sporting events.
Dianna Nicholas, CA
Meet Dianna, a southern girl at heart; born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Regency Beauty Institute of Dallas with her Cosmetology License, she gave birth to her son, Liam, and felt a dynamic calling to do more than help clients achieve “amazing hair days.” In 2016 she began her career as a teacher and lead infant caregiver, quickly falling in love with child development. Her passion for childcare really sparked the fire inside of her to advocate for others! However, six years bent over cribs, tending to these tiny angels took a toll on her back. Her journey to a pain free life, led her to Dr. Jones. She is a true testament to the miracle of chiropractic care on her own body and mind, giving her a pain-free new lease on life! You can find Dianna at Elevation in Rowlett as Dr. Jones’s assistant, thrilled to guide you on your own incredible healing journey to wellness! When Dianna isn’t at Elevation, you can be sure she's at her happy place, the gym, or at home creating music with her son on the piano, clarinet, and guitar! She also loves a good book on a rainy day snuggled up with her cat, Mickey.
Juana Garcia
Meet Juana, born in Jalisco Mexico, and raised in Dallas, Texas. She attended South Garland High School and was an active participant in the varsity drill team as well as the Future Teacher Internship Program. After that, she interned at Centerville Elementary School for a year and then taught preschool age from 2016 to 2023. She found her passion for helping develop children's minds but later met Dr. Jones and found her true calling for chiropractic care in 2023. Without previous chiropractic care, she had no idea what a pain-free life felt like. She now encourages all of her loved ones to stop by the office to receive the same life changing journey to wellness and healing that she found. You can find Juana at the front desk greeting you with a smile as you walk in the door. When she's not at the office, you can find her crushing her fitness goals at the gym, or jamming out at a Luke Combs concert with her husband. She also enjoys traveling around the world and trying the different cuisines while admiring the breathtaking views.
